Designer - David Jimenez

I fell in love with almost everything in this apartment.  Showcased in Architectural Digest it's the apartment of designer David Jimenez in Kansas.  But this bedroom - everything I'm looking for right now - so serene and soothing.

I'm Fast Becoming a Fan

I've been admiring the designs by Elle Saab for quite some time now and find myself drawn to almost everything he designs so far in both couture and ready to wear.  I know he's been popular for a while but I tend to take my time until I'm consistently impressed and then latch on.  I'm just that way.

But it's the dreamy pieces he designs for spring that I love the most with their delicate quality. I wish I had somewhere to wear this sort of thing.

Such beautiful detail work.

Can you image wearing this beautiful wedding gown?

Born in Lebanon he's been designing clothes since he was nine years old and the quality of his work is beyond amazing.  This man has so much talent.  Can you imagine how lucky his sisters must be?

Profile: Caroline Reed Interior Design - Bathroom Inspiration

I love this bathroom because I'm in love with the colour. I'm thinking that this would be great for my bathroom so I'm adding this to my inspiration file.  So soothing.  Once again, Caroline Reed of Caroline Reed Interior Design speaks to me.

Profile: Caroline Reed Interior Design - Single Mom Bungalow

I love this place.  She took on a project where all of the main work had already been done so she had to work with what was there - her focus was strictly furniture and accessories for this one.  What an amazing job.

If you have a little girls room - this house has one of the best examples I've seen in a while.  Maybe on another post.

Check out her blog for additional images - there are some amazing shots of this beautiful home.

Profile: Caroline Reed Interior Design - Rosedale House

I've been meaning to showcase this designer for quite awhile now but couldn't manage to reach her.  She's so busy.  She's also a local Canadian and one of my all time favourites.  So I'm going to showcase some of my favourite work from her blog periodically to give you a glimpse at how talented this woman really is.

This home is an elegant example that is one of my all time favourites - I must warn you I have a lot of them when it comes to her work.  I have no doubt she will be world famous one of these days with lines of furniture and linens just like the other high profile designers.

Check out her great blog CREED as well.

If you're looking for a great Canadian Designer - I would recommend this woman.  She has great taste, style professionalism and a sense of humour - which I think is very important.

Designer Profile - Stephen Sills

This is an interesting apartment look.  I like the vertical stripes, but feel it's got more of a cottage vibe than a sophisticated apartment in Manhattan.

The rest of the apartment has a different more sophisticated feel.  The rooms below are my favourites.

Designer Profile: Victoria Hagan

I’ve admired her work for quite some time and rarely find something that doesn’t fit with my style and taste.

“Victoria Hagan has long been respected for the intelligent integration of architecture and interior design. Her design philosophy features a refined use of materials, sophisticated color, and strong silhouettes.

Since founding her firm over 20 years ago, Victoria has designed an extensive number of versatile projects throughout the country, from the most elegant urban residences to casual weekend retreats, noted residential developments, and innovative corporate interiors.

Soon after Victoria began her career, The New York Times described her work as "the most cerebral, the one bound to be influential," and she continues to be a major force in the design community. She is continually featured in such publications as Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, W, Town & Country, Harper's Bazaar, Traditional Home, In Style and Interior Design. Vogue exclaimed that she defies the old school implications of the term 'lady decorator.'

In 2002, she launched an eponymous line of furniture and fabric sold through designer showrooms throughout the country. She was named Furniture Designer of the Year by Elle Décor in 2006.

In December 2004, Victoria Hagan was inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame. In addition, she has been awarded many of the country's top design honors, including Architectural Digest's "Top 100".

A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Victoria currently serves on the school's Board of Governors. She recently endowed a scholarship for the newly formed MFA program in Interior Design.

Victoria is a frequent guest speaker on design issues throughout the country, and Rizzoli recently published her first book, Victoria Hagan: Interior Portraits.”
