My New Favourite Designer - Scott Yetman

As part of my New Years Resolutions (half of which I've already broken), I'm working on simplifying my life.  As such I won't be blogging as often as in the past.  Oh I know I've been remiss for quite awhile, but there just won't be time this year as I have very long to do list to work my way through as this year is all about purging and I've my determined to organize those pockets of resistance.   I'll try blogging about once a week so check in once in awhile.  I'll be around.  Now back to the reason for this post.

I had to post about my new favorite designer, Scott Yetman.  Well he's new to me but he's been around for a while and works out of Montreal.  House and Home Magazine recently featured his apartment.  Suddenly I'm craving good quality antiques and beautiful clean dentil mouldings, a clean black and white scheme through out and touches of whimsy.  See for yourself.

I'm usually way behind in discovering the latest show home but I didn't see any other images on line.  House and Home and Brian Gluckenstein have outdone themselves again.

 

Who wouldn't like a welcoming fireplace in your entry way.  Not too sure about the glass doors but then I like my privacy.  Of course if I had a place like this to show off I might be more inclined.

 

I kill for that stove.

 

I fell in love with this little room.

 

Brian loves fireplaces in bathrooms. 

 

A walk-in closet that would be just my size.

 

Love this little office space. 

 

 

I do laundry all day if I had this space.

 

My sister would go crazy if she had one of these.

 

Hmmmm.  Doesn't bode well when you've got first aid supplies handy.  I could see more potential for this room.

Lynda Reeves Knows Kitchens

Well my cupcakes are tasty but my kitchen leaves a lot to be desired.  I like to spread out when I cook and .... well make a mess.  So one of the reasons that baking isn't my thing too often is that my tiny kitchen usually ends up looking like a disaster zone.  Whenever I see this kitchen I want to completely redo mine, reorganize every cupboard and drawer and just get organized.  Needless to say I don't look at this these photos too often as it would be just too depressing.
