Classic Ralph Lauren

It's a classic Ralph Lauren kind of day for me today as I wrap presents and prepare for the holidays.  One more week to go and I'm on holidays.  It's been a rough year so this holiday is all about relaxing, spending time with family and friends.  I want to savour every moment of it because we haven't had a proper Christmas for the last two years.  So this year, it's all about appreciating what we have and feeling the love.

The downside of Aging

I love this watch, but couldn't read the time without reading glasses.  Lovely for someone young like this young woman but not practical for someone my age.  I think I'm having a mid-life crisis.

The majesty of Horses

There is something about horses - they've always seemed like such noble animals to me.  They can be fierce but for the most part they're always happy to see you, love to run and will do almost anything you ask of them.  They remind me of my dog sometimes. 

That said I should add that I've been thrown by every horse I've ever ridden at some point.  Still I get back on and keep riding.  Well not lately but in my heart I am.

 

 

Christy Turlington - How do they do it?

The recent photo I posted from an old Calvin Klein ad earlier - I remember that ad clearly because I wanted that white swimsuit and never found it.  At any rate, she still looks the same.  How do they do it?

 

 

If it's possible I think she's even more beautiful today.  Maybe I should take up yoga.

 

 

 

Grooming for the Holidays

This week is Christmas Party week for me.  Lunches, Cocktail parties, and some serious Christmas shopping and decorating.  I need to spend this weekend just getting ready.
