A Little Luxury

I'm trying to sort out a better budget this year so I'm doing my best to reign myself in, sort through what I have and see what I really need and want.  I've ignored this for the last few years and now I'm beginning to feel the results of it.  So luxury items are currently off the list.  I need a fix somewhere so for the next little while this will be my way of indulging.  Skies the limit when you do it this way.  I highly recommend it for getting it out of your system.

Building a Library

I've been re-reading some of my old books lately while my dad watchs the golf channel - non stop.  I've watched more golf this year than I care to. At any rate, as a result I'm looking at my library and thinking it needs some serious upgrading and some new books wouldn't hurt either.  I love the look of built in bookcases, but I must admit that I'm not sure I want to invest that much into this house.  After my dad goes I will have to do a major overhaul anyway and I really do not think we can add built-ins into the budget.  However, I am looking for inspiration.  This is my favourite so far.

I’ve admired his designs for quite some time, but his principal residence in Washington is my favourite.  Do you think he would mind if I moved in?

I’ll happily move into the pool house if he’s uncomfortable with me taking over his main residence.
